About the Resize Images in Bulk

Resizing a folder of photos one at a time is slow and easy to get wrong. This batch resizer applies one rule to every image you add: scale everything to a percentage, fit everything inside a pixel box, or bring each file under a size limit. It runs in your browser, lists each file with its old and new size, and bundles the results into a single zip.

What you can do

• Pick Percentage mode and drag the slider anywhere from 1 to 200 percent.
• Pick Dimensions mode to give a width, a height or both; with the aspect ratio locked, each image is scaled to fit inside that box.
• Pick File size mode to bring every image under a KB limit you set.
• Watch a progress bar while the batch runs, and see each file's new pixel size and percentage change in a paged list.
• Download images one by one, or all finished files at once as resized-images.zip.

Things to know

• Your photos stay on your device; the canvas work happens in the browser tab and nothing is uploaded.
• With the ratio unlocked, both a width and a height are required and images are stretched to exactly that size.
• File size mode saves PNGs as JPG, since lowering quality only works on lossy formats. WebP files keep their format.
• Changing the mode or a setting clears earlier results, so run the batch again. To crop, watermark or convert in the same pass, use Image Workflow.
